The health and safety of our Y7 community is our top priority. With the growing concerns around coronavirus, we want to share the procedures and practices that we always take to help keep you and others healthy.

We are strictly following the advice and direction from the World Health Organization and CDC relating to this virus.

March 16, 6:00am EST:

  • After careful consideration, we have decided to proactively close all Y7 Studio locations in New York and Los Angeles until further notice, effective Monday, March 16.
  • Social distancing is the most important factor we can help to control in flattening the curve of the COVID-19 outbreak. We feel it is our responsibility to do our part in preventing this from spreading further.
  • All active packages and memberships will be automatically paused during this closure. If you have any questions, please contact your preferred studio location here.

  • We are reducing capacity in all classes by 50%

Los Angeles Updates | March 14, 4:00pm PST:

  • We are reducing capacity in all classes by 50%
  • We are reducing the number of classes we’re offering on our schedule

New York Updates | March 13, 5:00pm EST:

  • We are reducing capacity in all classes by 50%
  • We are reducing the number of classes we’re offering on our schedule
  • Effective Monday, March 16, we will be closing Y7 Meatpacking and Y7 at Solace New York until further notice

What we’re doing to keep our studios clean and safe for clients and employees:

  • We have temporarily suspended the use of props, such as blocks, to minimize shared surfaces
  • Instructors are not offering hands-on adjustments during class
  • We have increased the number of yoga mats available at each studio to ensure that each mat will have less frequent use
  • We use medical-grade cleaning solution to sanitize yoga mats, studio floors and surfaces immediately after every class
  • We wash all towels immediately after each use in industrial washers and high-heat dryers, specifically effective for killing germs and bacteria
  • Y7 employees wear medical-grade gloves during all cleaning procedures
  • Y7 locations use exhaust fans to remove moisture and debris from the studio after every class

We cannot stress the importance of listening to your body enough, both on and off the mat. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and do not attend class. If you need to reschedule a class around concerns of being sick, please email your preferred studio location and our team is happy to help.

For clients in the studio, we encourage you to follow these best practices:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Cough into your arms, rather than out in the open
  • Use hand sanitizer before and after class, found at the front desk and refresh bars
  • Clean your mat after class with our medical-grade solution, available in the studio room

Thank you for your help in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all to practice. We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon.
