Favorite yoga pose: Adho Mukka Vrksasana. Such an empowering feeling to get some hang time

Favorite post yoga snack: A fresh juice!  My favorite recipe currently is made with carrots, nectarines, apples, and a hunk of ginger.

How did you get into yoga? My Mom has been practicing for a long time, she talked me into going to my first class.  It because this amazing thing we shared together

What was your first class like?  I was 13 when I took my first class, my mom took me to the class and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I actually ended up hating it!  It was so hot and I couldn’t do any of the poses, and I just gave up.  It wasn’t until I was 16 that I finally went back again with my Mom, and after that I fell in love.

A quote you love?  “Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities.  Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.  –Gloria Steinem
